My autobiography

My name is Bárbara Méndez, i was born in Santiago and i'm 23 years old.
My love for nature (including animals) started when i was a little girl and my favourite game was playing with earth, but my mama doesn't like it too much because of the dirt.

At 10 years old i entered to the Scout group of my School, i went to my first Camp and it was great. Everything i did was playing all day with my friends, sleep in tent and look at the trees, and it was perfect for me. 
After that i started to observe the Santiago's trees and plants, and i found a great variety, flowers of every color, different size leaves, small and big trees close to my house and more. The nature has always been there and i wasn´t seeing it. 
I wanted to learn more about plants and animals and that's how i decided to study Agricultural Engineering. In a subject called Vegetal Taxonomy i discover what Native Flowers was, it is like a hobbie to me photograph flowers specially the native ones and that'sthe reason of the blog, show native flowers to people who like it .

Hello there !! Today I will write about my semester. This term I have 5 subjects which is very relax for me because two years ago I had 8 subjects per term, 16 subjects in the year and it was too stressing I only have one subject that is difficult for me and I have been studying it too much.   I have very good marks so I am confident about it My favourite subject this term is English III because i like to learn different words, pronunciations and stuffs. I would like to keep learning English, after this subject there ir another, English IV that it is the last. After that you can make a English test and be able to go to another countries to work. Game of thrones  it is a series that  many people know but i just discover it two years ago, in 2017. That year I went to the beach with my friend and her family   for Winter holidays, the last night  of vacation  was the premiere of the 7 season of GoT, my friend obviously wanted to see it because she is a great fun of that series,   so she explain me all the previous seasons in like 20 minutes.  So, the first episode that i saw was the first episode of the 7 season, and i didn’t understand nothing at all, but i liked the trama and the characters. Thats how i started seeing all the seasons in 3 months, I was in classes so all the nights i saw 3 or 4 episodes of one hour each, it was crazy. But now, this Sunday everything is going to end, is the last episode of the last season ever, and i don´t know what i´m going to do after that (looking for another serie i think) PD: My favorite character is Dany , no matter what

Green Revolution

Hello you all !!  Today i will write about one person I admire, his name is Norman Ernest Borlaug.  Borlaug was an american agronomist who contribute to the Green Revolution or Third Agricultural Revolution, described like a set of research technology transfer initiatives, between 1960-1980. In these years people was dying from starving in India, so Norman was invited to the country and they decide to plant new cereals varieties that he was developed. These new varieties of wheat, maize and rice was resistant to extreme climates and pests. Farm equipment was started to be used in farms also fertilizers, pesticides and irrigation. In consecuence farm yield incresed and people stop dying This Revolution was so relevant that Norman Borloug receive the Nobel Peace prize for saving thousands of people.
