Climate Change- COP25

Hello everyone, the today's post is about Climate Change and COP25. I think Climate Change starts many years ago because I remember my sciences teacher at school when I was 10 years old talking us about the Global warming and finally it is here. This winter was the driest winter in seventy years, the Aculeo lagoon it is completely dry, five regions are in agricultural emergency, the Glaciar Grey it is melting and this is only what it is happened in Chile. We all know what to do to reduce our environmental impact, recycle use public transport or bicycle to improve air quality and stuffs but I think what we really need it is a change of mind. Not everybody it is aware of the damage we are doing to the planet and in consequense to us (sceptical people like Brazil and USA presidents).  That's why I believe COP25 is going to have a very good impact in people. All the countries in the Earth planet are going to talk about Climate Change, what to do about ir and get an agreeme

My pets

Hi everyone , today i will write about my pets I have had pets since I was a little girl mainly cats, dogs and a fish. My mom gave me a little fish for my  17th birthday his name was Cachalote and the next year for my 18th birthday my grandfather gave me a pretty dog his name is Copo. Last year I saw a Facebook post of a homeless cat who was searching for a home so I contact the person and I adopted Aymi my white beautiful cat. One month later I get surprised when I realized that Aymi was pregnant. She give birth 4 pretty kittens but sadly two of them died two days after birth so me and my family decided to stay with the other two kittens, Kovu a grey cat  and Nube a white cat just like his mother. Currently two of my pets died, Kovu and Cachalote and my family got very sad. So now I have 4 pets, 3 cats (Aymi, Nube and Simba a little roman cat) and Copo, my dog.

Hi there!! Today I will write about my best holidays and I can't choose so i’ll write about two of them. During summer holidays in 2016 I traveled   to Coñaripe with all my family and we stayed there for a month in my grandfather’s   nieces   house.   This holidays were a very homely vacation because we spend our days cooking, making a kitchen garden and going to the beach everyday and we celebrate my grandmother’s birthday so its was very nice. This year I traveled to the south of Chile with y boyfriend and it was amazing. We take a bus to Temuco   and then another to Panguipulli so we traveled all the night.   We stayed at camp sites for a few days planning our next destinations   We wanted to visit Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve so we take a bus to Neltume and the only thing I can say about Huilo Huilo is   beauty, nature beauty.   Then we traveled to Lican ray to stay there for one week and then we return to Santiago.

Sudamerica and Namibia

Hello again  I have a list of countries I’d like to visit for different reasons. When I was fifteen years old my only dream in life was to make a long journey and that’s why my first destiny in my list is Sudamerica.   I want to make a long cultural journey to Sudamerica because I’d like to learn about different traditions and habits of native people or his descendants like Aymará, Inca, Mapuche, Quechua, Amazonia tribes and more. Besides I’d like to visit Salar de Uyuni and Machu Picchu. After this journey I want to visit Namibia. Namibia is an amazing country in southwest Africa. I want to visit it because of the Namib Desert a 2.000 km long desert beside the Atlantic ocean. Can you imagine the landscape? Beeing there for a few minutes it’s one of my biggest dream. Also I would like to participate in Naankuse, a charity foundation dedicated to conserving the landscapes, cultures and wildlife of Namibia.

Hello !! Today I will write about nature. I love nature and I like to travel and camp. In fact I do it several times a year. I’m scout girl so we go to camping with all the group during the year. We have two long camp in January for ten days and July for seven days for the Winter holidays. Also we have short camps with the bigger girls in May for the weekend of 21 and October in halloween weekend. It is very important for me to go out from Santiago constantly because I don´t really like it. Crowd pollution and noise isn’t for me. I’m in love with the South of Chile because of its lakes and trees. Last summer I traveled with my boyfriend (camping of course) to Los Rios and Araucania region. We start in Panguipulli then we went to Neltume to go to the Biological Reserve Huilo Huilo and we stand in Neltume two days. After that we went to Lican ray and Coñaripe in the Calafquen lake and we stand there for seven days. Finally to go to Temuco to spend a few

Hello you all !!  Today i will write about one person I admire, his name is Norman Ernest Borlaug.  Borlaug was an american agronomist who contribute to the Green Revolution or Third Agricultural Revolution, described like a set of research technology transfer initiatives, between 1960-1980. In these years people was dying from starving in India, so Norman was invited to the country and they decide to plant new cereals varieties that he was developed. These new varieties of wheat, maize and rice was resistant to extreme climates and pests. Farm equipment was started to be used in farms also fertilizers, pesticides and irrigation. In consecuence farm yield incresed and people stop dying This Revolution was so relevant that Norman Borloug receive the Nobel Peace prize for saving thousands of people. I wanted to write about Borloug beacause I think that the job of an Agronomist is to feed people and looking for new technicques to do it. Thanks to his job many peopl
